Our Chief Executive Officer, Nick Hale, took home the British Conveyancing Awards award for
‘Outstanding Business Leader of the Year’ at the awards ceremony in London last month. Our
technology team also picked up a ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Law Firm Innovator’ award category.
The British Conveyancing Awards showcase talent, excellence and innovation, with a shortlist made
up of suppliers, firms and organisations from across the conveyancing landscape.
Joining in 2022, Nick’s vision has contributed significantly to our success over the past year. We’ve
boosted customer satisfaction scores and achieved strong levels of engagement from partners
across the industry and our people. Nick also succeeded in achieving positive recognition from the
Land Registry, leading to our participation in a pilot to help digitise the market.
Under his leadership, our leadership team has been strengthened and our client services team has
doubled. Nick has committed significant investment into in-house training too, setting up our
academy to provide qualifications and opportunities for career progress. One of Nick’s key objectives
for the academy is to level the playing field and create opportunities for everyone.
