We are very excited to have recently appointed Karen Buckley as People and Culture Director and Sonia Robertson as Head of Talent to boost our talent team.
Karen brings over 25 years of experience in human resources and before joining us, Karen held leadership positions in human resources across various industries, including professional, consumer goods, and financial services.
Sonia brings a wealth of knowledge to the newly created role of Head of Talent, having worked in leading companies including M&S, O2, Virgin, Vodafone and the Co-op. Movera is entering a significant period of growth and Sonia has been tasked with taking recruitment to the next level.

Sonia will look at the basics of recruitment, such as job descriptions, candidate assessment processes and onboarding procedures. She will ensure these all function effectively to deliver a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. Sonia will also be looking at employer branding. A key part of Sonia’s role will be working closely with the workforce planning team to ensure that we have the right people in place to meet the demands of our ambitious growth plans.
