Meet Georgia Walker, a Remortgage Case Manager at ONP Solicitors, who has spent nearly eight years bringing experience, calm, and organisation to her role. Her interest in remortgages stems from a genuine desire to help clients navigate what can often be a stressful and complex process. “I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing a smooth, supportive experience for clients,” she explains.
Georgia starts each day by reviewing her task list, prioritising urgent cases, and planning her workload. She believes that staying proactive in communication with clients, brokers, and lenders is essential to preventing backlogs and keeping everything moving efficiently. Being calm under pressure and adaptable to change are key to how she manages her day-to-day responsibilities.
For Georgia, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing a remortgage case through from start to finish, particularly when she can make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients. She also values the people around her, noting that one of the highlights of working at ONP has been “the incredible colleagues I get to work with every day and the great friendships I’ve built along the way.”
When asked for advice for those just starting in remortgage case management, Georgia is clear: “Stay organised and ask questions. It can feel overwhelming at first, but it gets easier with experience. Make the most of the support and training around you, and don’t be afraid to speak up if you’re unsure about something. It’s better to ask than to guess. Also, focus on good communication with clients and third parties, as this plays a huge role in keeping cases moving smoothly.”
