My role
I jointly oversee the Client accounts team and report directly to the Financial Controller. We deal with all the client’s money going in and out of the firm.
What do you enjoy most about the job?
What I enjoy most is getting stuck in and finding ways of improving things. The firm are really focused on automation, and I look to implement that into everything we do. I work closely with the I.T team and I’m always looking to find projects or little fixes that make us even more efficient. I’ve always had a maths and I.T head on me.
We get two volunteering days for a charity a year which is brilliant. There are also lots of social events. I have brought in my VR headset so we can all play games like shooting zombies after work using the big screens in the social hub
Movera is very inclusive and friendly. There’s a great buzz and atmosphere in the office.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love BBQing and DJing, sometimes at the same time! I’ve built a purpose-made BBQ shack in the garden. I used to DJ in bars around Manchester and ran club nights.
