How it works
Apply for one of our Movera Academies (Property Lawyer, Case Manager or Client Success Specialist)
Complete the interview process, and once successful, you will earn a salary from day one of the Academy.
Earn while you learn over 4 or 8 weeks, depending on your chosen Academy
Once you have successfully passed and graduated from the Academy, you then start your guaranteed role at Movera

Overview: 8-Week Academy
Locations: Stockport, Leeds and Cardiff
Experience required: No experience
The Trainee Property Lawyer Academy is an 8-week training programme designed for individuals with little to no experience in Conveyancing or the industry. Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to manage a standard Conveyancing transaction from start to finish using a blended learning approach.

We’ll guide you through each step of the legal process, breaking down the tasks, system and processes whilst providing plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice with training files. The program places emphasis on attention to detail and understanding the legal language involved, ensuring you can readily apply your learnings.
Throughout the program, you’ll be set weekly knowledge assessments and system-based tasks to evidence your progress.
Around week six, there will be a final assessment, which includes both a written assessment and a practical exercise, that you will need to pass.
On passing your final assessment, you’ll start to take your own caseload. You’ll need to continue to demonstrate competence by completing live tasks under close supervision. This ensures accuracy and minimises risk to your clients and our company.
After passing the final assessment and completing the initial 8-week training period:
You’ll move on to a Graduation Bay for another 8 weeks. This phase allows you to continue to build your own caseload while reinforcing and refining the skills and knowledge you’ve acquired from your time in the Academy.
On leaving the Academy, you should be managing circa 20 files.
Overview: 8-Week Academy
Locations: Stockport and Leeds
Experience required: No experience
The Trainee Case Manager Academy is an 8-week training programme designed for individuals with little to no experience in Remortgage or the industry. Throughout the Academy, you will learn how to manage a full Remortgage transaction, from start to finish, using a blended learning approach. We’ll guide you through each stage of the process, explaining the steps involved, and provide ample opportunities for hands-on practice with trainee files.

You will also receive training on how to deliver exceptional Customer Service. This training ensures that we uphold the high standards reflected in our CSAT, NPS, and Trust Pilot scores and feedback.

Around week six, there will be a final assessment, which includes both a written assessment and a practical exercise, that you will need to pass.

On leaving the Academy, you should be managing circa 50 files.
Overview: 4-Week Academy
Locations: Stockport
Experience required: Customer service experience required
The CST Academy is a 4-week blended training Academy designed for individuals with little to no experience in Remortgage, Conveyancing, or the wider industry. Throughout the Academy, you will gain a clear understanding of the key steps and actions our Case Managers (CMs) and Property Lawyers (PLs) complete during a property transaction. You will be guided through the types of questions you are likely to receive, where to find accurate information, and how to update all parties confidently and effectively throughout the transaction.

You will also receive training on how to deliver exceptional Customer Service. This training ensures that we uphold the high standards reflected in our CSAT, NPS, and Trust Pilot scores and feedback.
The Academy also provides hands-on training in the systems that support these processes, with plenty of opportunities to practise and build confidence using them independently.
Throughout the program, you’ll be set weekly knowledge assessments and system-based tasks to evidence your progress, followed by a final written assessment at the end of the Academy, which you will need to pass.
You will then begin to take live calls. To graduate and officially join CST, you will need to demonstrate competence across several key areas. Your calls will be closely monitored, and you will receive ongoing, timely feedback to support your development throughout your training.
Overview: 5-Week Academy
Locations: London, Stockport, Leeds and Cardiff
Experience required: 2 years of experience
Throughout the Academy, you’ll revisit all the essential topics involved in property transactions, with a particular focus on the systems we use. This will ensure you feel confident and equipped to apply your existing legal knowledge effectively. This Academy will require you to have already managed your own caseload and have guided property transactions through their full journey, in both Sale and Purchase.

Before you take on your own caseload, you’ll need to demonstrate competence by completing live tasks, all under close supervision to ensure accuracy and minimise any risks to both clients and the company. In addition to this, you will be expected to competently run several training files from the start to the point of Exchange. There will also be an end-of-academy assessment that you will need to pass.
Once you’ve successfully passed the final assessment and completed your training:
You’ll graduate and transition to your designated team. You will focus on building your caseload, deepening your knowledge, and upholding the high standards reflected in our CSAT, NPS, and Trust Pilot scores.

Our interview process typically has two stages, although this can vary slightly by role.
- The first stage is a 30 minute Teams call with a member of our Talent Attraction team.
- The second stage is an in-office interview with an Operational Team Manager or an Assessment Centre for Conveyancing and Remortgage trainee roles.
Your progress is tracked through clear performance measures, regular feedback, and structured check-ins with your manager and training team. The focus is on quality, consistency, and development over time, not just speed.
Yes. Across our Client Success, Remortgage, and Conveyancing teams, there are clear and structured career pathways, supported by ongoing training, development opportunities, and internal progression.
Yes. During your initial training period, you will be based full-time in the office, as we believe this provides the best foundation for learning and development.
The length of this period depends on the role. It is typically six months for Remortgage and Conveyancing trainee roles, and varies for roles within our Client Success teams.
While we do not offer traditional training contracts, we are committed to investing in the development of our people. After 12 months of employment, colleagues can apply for financial support towards professional qualifications relevant to their role.
Business casual. While we are a legal services business, formal suits and ties are not required. We want you to feel professional, comfortable, and confident at work.
